American TV presenter STAR JONES called her THE VIEW co-host JOY BEHAR 'a *****' live on air yesterday (28MAR06) after Behar told Jones to stop talking about her recent breast life operation.

Jones called the show yesterday to address rumours she was near death after receiving a blood transfusion following breast enhancement surgery in Los Angeles.

Behar appeared to grow increasingly irritated as Jones kept going on and on about her surgery. She then grabbed a pen and furiously scribbled a note, gesturing to co-host MEREDITH VIEIRA to read what she had written, tapping on the paper for emphasis.

After Jones remarked, 'Last Friday was my 44th birthday, but my boobs still think they're 20', Behar decided she had heard enough, snapping, 'Ok, Star.

That's enough about you. On to us. Bye!' TV censors bleeped out Behar when she added, 'Keep your (breasts) perky!' in a mock-cheerful voice.

Jones shot back, 'I'm glad to see you haven't changed. Even today, you are still a *****.'

Producers abruptly ended the call before the fight could escalate.

A spokesman for the show tells the New York Post, 'If you watch The View regularly, Star and Joy enjoy teasing each other. No harm done. There's not reason to read any more into it than what was on-air.'

Jennifer Lopez is so desperate to get pregnant she has started eating spinach to make herself more fertile.
The Latin star, who is married to singer Marc Anthony, has put herself on the strict diet to make sure she's in tip-top condition to conceive.

On her doctor's recommendations, J.Lo has been eating the leafy vegetable three times a day to boost her intake of folic acid and increase her chances of conception.
The singer-turned-actress has labelled her new eating regime the 'Popeye' diet after the spinach munching cartoon character.

She said: 'Since my doctor recommended it I've been on spinach omelettes for breakfast, spinach salad for lunch and sauteed spinach with every dinner.'

There have been rumblings of a Kimora Lee-Russell Simmons split for months, but the next issue of Us Weekly says the announcement will come in a matter of days. SUPERSTAR Whitney Houston has spiralled into a world of squalor and degradation on deadly crack — as the shocking pictures in today's Sun newspaper reveal.
It shows the disgusting mess in the singer’s bathroom after a drug binge.
Drug paraphernalia including a crack-smoking pipe, rolling papers, cocaine-caked spoons and cigarette ends are strewn across the surface tops.
But Whitney, 42, no longer cares.
She was one of the biggest female artists of her generation — with a string of ’80s and ’90s hit singles like I Wanna Dance With Somebody and more than 100million albums sold.
Now she is a paranoid wreck hopelessly hooked on crack.
Drugs have devastated her once-famous beauty.

WHITNEY burst into the charts in 1985 with her debut Saving All My Love For You.
Chart toppers like I Wanna Dance With Somebody and One Moment In Time followed.
I Will Always Love You, from the soundtrack of her hit 1992 movie The Bodyguard, sold an astonishing 37million copies.
She won 21 American Music Awards and six Grammys.
She is haggard, with dark circles under her eyes and a deranged look on her face.
She regularly disappears for days and weeks at a time — holed up in seedy crack dens in dangerous parts of town.
And she has blown much of her multi-million pound showbiz fortune on her habit.
Now family and friends fear the addiction will end in her death unless she can beat it.
The bathroom photo was taken by Whitney’s sister-in-law Tina Brown at the five-bedroom mansion the star shares with her drug-abusing hubby Bobby Brown in Atlanta, Georgia.
Tina, sister of Bobby, is herself a self-confessed former addict who once regularly took crack with mum-of-one Whitney.
She is now clean. But she said: “The truth needs to come out. Whitney won’t stay off the drugs. It’s every single day. It’s so ugly. Everyone is so scared she is going to overdose.”





In a shocking interview, the mother of six told how Whitney spends days locked in her bedroom amid piles of rubbish.
There the woman who co-starred with Kevin Costner in the 1992 hit movie The Bodyguard smokes crack, uses sex toys to satisfy herself and ignores personal hygiene.
When high on drugs, she imagines she sees demons and is being beaten by them.
The sad truth is that she bites and punches her own body without realising it.
Millions of fans will find it hard to believe that THIS was once the wholesome girl admired for her stunning looks and amazing voice.





The artist who started out aged 11 in a church gospel choir, encouraged by a family of top singers like her mother Cissy Houston, first cousin Dionne Warwick and godmother Aretha Franklin.
Tragically, drug-crazed Whitney has refused all offers of help to get clean and has had failed spells in rehab.
Tina, 42, said: “She’ll point to the floor and say, ‘See that demon. I’m telling you somebody’s messing with Bobby’. She always thinks it’s something to do with Bobby. But it’s her, hitting herself.”
In her paranoia, Whitney made a hole in the bathroom wall so she could see who was in the house.
Tina said: “She breaks everything — mirrors, phones, cabinets, appliances.”

She revealed Whitney’s 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina was often frightened by her mum’s weird behaviour.
Tina also claimed Whitney was so wasted on drugs that she wet herself — then put on a baby’s nappy.
And once Whitney smoked crack on the way to a rehab clinic.
Tina recalled: “She’d say, ‘I’m just gonna act crazy’.”
Whitney allegedly calls a stream of dealers to her house and buys “eight balls” of crack — eighth of an ounce rocks.
Users usually break an eight ball up into smaller pieces.
But Tina said Whitney cuts open a cigar, puts an entire eight ball inside it with marijuana and smokes it.
Whitney was also rushed to hospital in 2003 with blood gushing from her nose — and emerged with a bizarre bandage on it.
A source said: “Everyone wondered what happened to Whitney’s nose.”
Witnesses at a Las Vegas hotel described how she had earlier looked “completely trashed”.
Tina added: “I understand what she’s going through. Addiction is a disease. Maybe this interview will save her life

God, did I love Whitney Houston. I idolized her when I was growing up because she and her voice were amazingly beautiful. I can't believe what's happened to her.

Gwyneth Paltrow has a new motto: 'Guinness is good for the baby.'

The Oscar-winning actress was visibly annoyed at the stares and pointing when she had dinner with hubby Chris Martin on Tuesday at hip lower East Side sushi bar Cube 63.

But the stares turned to gapes when the pregnant actress downed a beer.

'People were looking and waving, and she just tried to melt further into the corner,' according to one witness, who said she ordered salad and what appeared to be sushi.

Diners in the 30-seat restaurant observed Martin exit the BYOB joint to pick up several bottles of the Irish stout Guinness at a nearby deli. And they were surprised when Paltrow, who is five months pregnant with the couple's second child, drank one herself.

Paltrow is famous for her rigorous macrobiotic diet, although she altered it the last time she was pregnant, with her daughter, Apple. Some experts recommend a little Guinness for expecting mothers, because of the brew's high iron content.

Her rep confirmed she drank the alcoholic beverage, but said she ate only cooked food, not sushi.

Guess there is something to that Guinness slogan after all!

'We believe this is a case of retaliation, because Naomi had fired her housekeeper earlier this morning,' Campbell's rep tells 'The Insider''s MARC MALKIN. 'We are confident the courts will see it the same way.'

Earlier today, 'The Insider' confirmed that the supermodel was arrested at her home for allegedly assaulting an employee. The housekeeper was reportedly taken to a hospital with a cut on her head.

A source close to the covergirl tells Malkin that the housekeeper worked for Campbell for about four months. The source says Campbell fired her this morning because she believed she was stealing from her.

Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc, 38, and his wife, Melissa, 41, are divorcing, the couple announced Thursday.

'Melissa and Matt LeBlanc have decided to end their marriage of three years,' the actor's rep, Joe Libonati, said in a statement. 'The dissolution is amicable. They remain devoted parents and friends. For the sake of their family, they ask that their privacy be respected at this time.'

According to legal documents filed by LeBlanc, the actor is seeking “dissolution of marriage” based on “irreconcilable differences.” He lists the couple's date of separation at Jan. 1, 2006, and requests joint legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Marina.

Melissa, a former model, has two other children from a previous marriage.

The pair were originally introduced in 1997 by actor Lou Diamond Phillips and his wife, Kelly. After a five-year engagement, Matt and Melissa were married on May 3, 2003, in Hawaii in front of 75 guests that included former costars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow.

At the time of their marriage, a friend of the couple's told PEOPLE that they seemed perfectly suited. 'They're really sweet together,' said the friend. 'He loves her and she loves him. It's very real.'
