I am so depressed ladies. I am tired of working just to pay my mortgage ($4,900) Crazy Right? I just called the bank and they want to try to refinance but I don't think that will work cause my father shows no income (thats why we got such an expensive mortgage). I am in the same crises like those who are loosing their homes, the difference is that I am losing all my income just to pay the house and save my credit Don't know what to do.

Im so sorry. I know nothing about owning a home and it really is a scary moment to go and have one.

I made a young and stupid decision. I got my house at age 22 now 24, my dad helped co-signed that is why I got approved. But the interest is too high bc he doesn't have income to show and they gave it to me without checking his income. I was fine because I had two other jobs but since I started law school I stopped working my other two jobs. So basically all I make goes to pay off the bal of the house. DH and I can't afford to live there. While I am paying the mortgage ($1,300 out of pocket) keyspand and the waterbill, plus my own bills I am barely left with mula. DH pays the rent were we live which is low and the lightbill, grocery and of course the few times we go out but I am so sad, I am used to having money to treat my friend and even DH and now I can't even treat myself to the things I want. I hate it, and if I stop paying I loose my credit but I am seriously contemplating it as I am so tired of being broke!

Awwww, I know..its soooo hard out here.. I understand you sooo much. We bought a condo 2 years ago.. we moved and rented it out.. but the rent there paying dosent cover the mortgage and the main fee's and taxes.. so Im paying the difference which is $1000.00 per month, 2 car notes.. which thank god one will be done sometime next month... but one is a truck we dont have... that well lonnnggg story.. thats over $1500.00 per month with car insurance.. then rent!!!!!!!!! we decided to move into a nice neighborhood in NJ on the Hudson to get the kids in EXTREMLY good school... rent a house for $1750.00!!!!( which we took because it was a connection..otherwise it was $2400) plus lights and cable!!!!!!!!! it drives me insane at times!!!! OVER $4k a month.. and thats not food, and the boys lunch money ( which is not freaking cheap out here).. and clothes.. and OMG.. trying to plan a wedding.. and just to LIVE! and trying to get ahead! We maintain and stay sane.. but its sooo hard.. so I do understand...
We tried to refiance the condo and NOPE! We have to get the credit up a little more... so she said next summer maybe... Just take it day by day..I came to the conclusion that I am just pround of myself for being 26 and maintaing.. you know what I mean? You are also in school! I give you lotttsss of credit! Trust me.. you came far! Its going to pay off!!!!!!!!

Thanks girl but its mentally draining me. I mean I am going to hold on as much as I can, but I would love to be like those lucky girls who are supported by their husbands and just go to school, hopefully one day.

Both floors are rented out, I have to still pay out of pocket for the rest of the mortgage plus the bills. If they lowered it I would be fine! But they are making it so difficult.

I love these...lol but to be honest us ladies do need a 101 class as well (at least I know I do) I am not great in the cooking, cleaning being the perfect wife dept.....LMAO

That is a really HUGE mortgage payment. Is your house worth more than what you owe? Would you ever consider selling? Is your home big enough for a tenant?

The problem with selling is finding ppl to buy and stil manage to make a profit for yourself.
