Hello LadiesI am Puerto Rican and my FH is Puerto Rican and Irish. My wedding date is May 24, 2009 @ The Swan Club. I am super excited - can't believe its only 6 months away. Good luck to all with the wedding plans. Its a lot of work and at times stressful but it'll all be worth it in the end.
I would love recommendations for bilingual djs (spanish and english), limos and florists.
Take care,
Cindy

I am wondering the same thing. We need to set a date. Should I organize this? I have too much craziness going on right now. What if we determine a date Maybe Mid Nov and ask the girls to FM me to confirm that they are going? What ya'll think?

I looked at the swan club and went to a wedding there. The gardens are gorgeous but it was too pricey especially that I looked into it 2 mnths b4 my owe wedding. Then again all other halls were booked and my hall didn't cut me any slack either.

Really, i got a pretty good deal i guess since im in the Spring. I fell in love with their gardens, the water springs and the room facing the gardens. How was the wedding you went to there, did it look well executed?

thanx..my color scheme is fushia/dark pink w/ taupe..but I can't find pics w/taupe.. Any other suggestions to personalize the wedding our way..???
I also wanted to do the same color scheme, but I have yet to decide. I do know that whatever color I do use I def want fushia/pink flowers. I might actually use the fushia/pink as an accent color and make my main color latte/taupe/champagne.
Love your possible color choices.. very pretty! How was your weekend?
I was wondering... are you Inc anything from Kirks side ( jamaican ) into the wedding? Food etc.. or just music.. lol! I ask because I was feeling bad this weekend doing so much from the Spanish Culture and having my family there ( jamaicans ) or am I overthinking it... Should I set up a empanada station and a curry station.. lmao! You know what I mean..
Hey Quia. Actrually my RH offers Jamaican food for CH too. So I'll be having Spanish and Jamaican food served at CH. I know his people are also going to do the black cake to give out to the guest as they leave. And then ofcourse the reggae music.
