Hey Ladies, I'm also using Duet!!! I saw their work and it is amazing! They charged me $4200 with tax, albums. This is for Photographer and video. Not bad at all!!! A lot of vendors were charging $5000+ for both Photographer and Video. I just don't know which team to choose because they were all great!
thats a great price!!!! i also wanted duet, but theyve been booked for my date for awhile

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread
Yeah, I couldn't believe they were already starting to be booked for June 2010. I met with a few vendors and they were a bit pricey. I was shocked when Duet quoted me only $4200...of course, I did my research on them just to make sure they are good.Did you find a photographer?

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread
Thanks
I need to make an appointment and see their albums again. I don't want to wait last minute to choose a team. I guess I'll wait first to see if I win this z100 contest first
However, I did hear great things about TJ and also Danny's team.

Did you meet with Eric or did you go to their Manhattan office? I loved both of their albums but everytime i saw photos that TJ had taken i just loved the whole photo journalistic way of them just so elegant looking to me. Where do you go to vote for you?

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread
We actually met with Eric in the NY office. But he had us waiting for 20 minutes, so we rushed through the albums quickly because we had somewhere else to go right after. Since I don't work too far from Grand Central, I'm going to stop by during my lunch break and check out all albums again. In order to vote for me you can go to www.z100.com keyword 'Wedding' and select couple number 2 (Ramon and Maribel). You can then scroll down and enter your email address and select 'Here comes the bride'. Once you do that, you will receive an email from z100 to validate your vote. Voting takes about 30 seconds. It;s quick

You can also try to click this link
http://www.z100.com/pages/contest/wedding/
Voting ends tomorrow at 12pm. I'm so excited. Hopefully they will announce the winner on Tuesday
Thanks for voting!!!

Re: Official Latina Brides Thread
The reception will be at the Atlantis Yacht downtown...That's where we were chosen as finalist and it's gorgeous!! They have everything picked out for you, wedding date, reception, invitations, photographer, flowers, dj, honeymoon, rings, dresses...girl you name it and it's included...can't forget the open bar! Isn't that amazing! Especially since no one is giving me a dime for my wedding so I really want to win this. I've already given my deposit for reception and photographer...i might be able to get my money back from the reception, but not sure for the photographer. But that's not on my mind right now. Just the free wedding..lol

Villa Barone is gorgeous!!! But was just too far for me,they have an elevator that comes up from the floor and they bring you up and that is how you are introduced

Villa Barone is beautiful, but i'm not too crazy about their food. I didn't hear about the Atlantis Yacht until I entered the competition..I was impressed. Plus they will have an event coordinator who will decorate everything according to your taste to make it nice
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!! I will notify you ladies if I win
