Ok Im bored out of my mind- For those of us who plan on having kids, what names would you

name your kids

If its a boy we are calling him Jake
a girl Hubby wants to call her Tatiyana which Im dead set against or Kristina

I wanted to name the girl after me, but I was vetoed

I like Daniel & Jake for a boy and Sara and Kate for a girl.

My DH wants to name our first son Rocco after his Grandfather....I said NO WAY...although he is still insistant!

Amalia after his g-ma if it's a girl (which I like)

Beyond that - I haven't given it much thought yet!

I love the name Sofia - but it's become so common now.....

Sage - I love the name Amalia.

My down the hall neighbor while I was growing up was named Amalia and it brings back nice memories

My MOH's niece is named Gianna. MOH's parents are off the boat from Sasanno Italy. Her brother and sister decided to keep the Italian alive and so MOH's nieces are

Wacky - Trust me, that does not offend me at all.....I told DH that he would get beat up on the playground with that name....

His response was 'with a name like Rocco, he'll be doing the beating up'...

Sage that name is like a bullys name. My Dh is out of him mind with naming a girl Tatiyana, was too much for me. Its to much of a name to pull off.

We dont even know if we are going to have kids but I know the naming process would be so tough. My husband likes names that I hate and I like names he hates! Plus our last name is a beyotch.

I think Kate if its a girl. No clue if its a boy.

For a girl we agreed on Alexa Rose but I LOVE Isabella, FH doesn't.

Can't really agree on a Boy's name though....I think Gregory would be a nice tribute to his Dad who passed away 5 years ago though.

Paige Michelle for a girl (I gave up my last name to name my daughter Paige, and Michelle is my name, and it has been a tradition in my family to have you mom's name as your middle name.

Joseph Scott for a boy. (My FIL's name and my father's name) My DH is not convinced on this one, he wants a Junior, But I don't like the idea of a Junior. Also DH ahs a 1/2 brother with the name Joseph, and he never had kids, so we wanted to honor his father by using the name.

I have even given in to using it as a middle name....but he insists....(he was very close to this grandfather but he died b4 I knew him) so it's hard for me to argue....

I was going to try and say that if it's a girl we name it after your Grandma Amalia, and if it's a boy we name it after my Grandfather....Then I remembered my 2 Grandfather's names....
Clayton and Samuel....lol!!! Rocco might be better....LOL!
