Ya wanna hear something funny???

I went to DMV yesterday to get my new married name on my license......and it doesn't fit!!!!!!

They had to remove the hyphen & it is only my last name(s) and my first initial!!!!

Oh boy, now I know what to expect. I have 8 letters and FH has 10. Yikes!!

hearzbellz, same thing happened to me!!!
I have my first initial and my two last names, but I was able to keep the hyphen.

Yeah same thing happened to wife and I: Hyphin, first initial.

Bu being a male I've had several heads turn when I tell them that I'm hyphinating.
When we did it, we of course started with the marriage license. After the wedding our first stop was the social security office; no problems. The DMV gave me a hard time. They said only the woman can hyphinate, not the man. They actually had to ask a supervisor if I was allowed to change my name.

Thanks; 16 letter last name is a little long, but if DW was going to, then why not myself.

Most females think its cool, progressive and are all for it when I tell them.
Males just shake their heads in disbelief.
