TAX question - what's the best way to fill out the W-4 since getting married?

I used to claim single, 0

Now I don't know what to do!

I kept mine the same (single, 0 also) since you end up paying more taxes as a married couple I didn't want to reduce the amount of taxes withheld.

Will I get in trouble if the govt finds out I am married? Can't I choose 'Married, but w/hold at a higher single rate'?

It really doesn't matter if you are witholding at single, since the gov't is getting the most witholding. They would have a problem if you were witholding at a lower amount then they require, or were not witholding at all.
