Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

go early or late is my advice. I initially registered on a week day which I highly recommend (if you can get off of work). the sales people were there to answer questions and would walk around with you. then I went on a weekend (saturday) there was a ton of people there and some brides did not get scanners because they ran out (they seem to have like 20+)
The staff was busier and although they were willing to help you, they were naturally more busy. I also went one night this past week and it was really nice again....A woman helped clarify some information in the cooking department and spent about 5-10 minutes with me looking something up i nthe computer.
hope this helps

FH & I are actually going this weekend to just 'look around'. We wanted to get ideas and make sure that Fortunoff has what we want...before we committed to registering there.

Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

I initially registered on a Saturday afternoon and had no issues! We got our scanner and walked around ourselves, it was alittle harder to find someone to answer questions but overall it wasnt too bad. I went again with my mom on a Saturday before Christmas. It was a mad house but I wasnt adding too much so overall it was fine!

Fortoffs was alot of fun to register for!
WE did it in small doses because my FH hates to shop, so this way he never got annoying, he actually enjoyed it! One more trip to finalize and we will be done!

Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

I registered there about 1 month ago. We got there about 10am and had no problems. The salespeople were great. However when we were finally finished (hours later,) there were so many people waiting for a scanner and were so happy to see us come back with one.
So I think if you are going on a Saturday early as soon as they open is probably your best bet.

Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

I registered at Fortunoff's on a weeknight with FH, I tried to do it in small doses b/c by the end of the night he was walking around scanning my A$$ with the scanner.

I also registered for a lot of stuff online that I added to the registry it was very convenient.

Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

We registered in Fortunoff's to but do yourself a favor and listen to the other girls do it in small doses. Try to do like one or two departments at a time and get the whole department. Not only did FH get a bit punchie but my head started hurting looking at merchandise for so long (I hate Shopping). Dont forget you can always add or adjust stuff on line in the comfort of your own home.

Re: anyone registering at Fortunoff this weekend??

definitely go in the morning- we went on a sat afternoon and didn't get a scanner which was no big deal but it would be easier with less of a crowd.
