Re: MENUS and small details?

most girls make them on their own...I'm skipping them....a minor detail I don't feel that is necessary...I have enough to worry about

Re: MENUS and small details?

You can make the small details.
Menu, seating chart, programs. all not necessary but you may just want to make it extra special and make it.

Re: MENUS and small details?

Menus are definitely not necessary. I honestly have never gotten one at a wedding. I think it's a really cute idea. I am thinking doing them.

Re: MENUS and small details?

My hall wouldn't allow outside menus but they put regular ones in frames on the table as part of the package. I got the 'upgraded cake' which ended up coming with personalized menus that don't come in frames

Re: MENUS and small details?

when you say they won't let you use an outside one, does that mean that you can't make your own? i never thought to ask the wcc if i can make mine.

Re: MENUS and small details?

we just finished making our's
i think they're a nice touch because sometimes people have trouble hearing what the waiter or waitress is sayign for the choices....so it clears things up

Re: MENUS and small details?

i went to a late sunday night reception at russo's. i saw a TON of guests leave early and i don't think they ever knew there was a viennese hour. i felt that for this reception, the smartest thing she could have done was put that on her menu cards. you can really go either way on this one.

Re: MENUS and small details?

villa lombardi's wouldn't allow menus? WOW! I'm getting married at Port Jeff C.C. now owned by them and have already been planning on doing them, I think they are a nice touch. I wonder what there reasoning is.....I know they make there own seems wrong not to let you bring in your own if you want too....
