Any Thursday Weddings?

Just curious...that's what day we chose...We figured it'll be in the summer ( a great excuse to an extended weekend) and I'll have a lot of family out from Seattle. Or have any newlyweds had their big day on a Thursday?

funny...

only thursday wedding i went to was @ The Riveria

i didn't mind...i took off friday and people really seem to enjoyed them selfs there. i personally thought it was small but very nice.

you should have a blast

I would love a thursday wedding, like you said, GREAT EXCUSE to take a long weekend!!! how FUN!! I lived in seattle for five years!! Taking Dh this year for bumbershoot!!

Actually I lived in Federal way, just spent all of my time in Seattle! I moved from there to here almost 9 years ago..it was culture shock, I hated it here, now I love it, but I still love Seattle, its my favorite city in the US.

I missed it for along time!!! I would cry and wonder why the hell I moved here, but then I got used to it!! It is still the most BEAUTIFUL city in the US, and we used to drive to vancouver which is the most beautiful city EVER, I loved living out there. On our honeymoon we met some people from Seattle, it made me realize I need to get my butt back out there!

I was only there for five years, moved there from Oklahoma because I was young and in love, went to school out there and when the guy didnt work out I stayed there anyway!!! Climbed Mt Rainier and spent many nights in Pioneer Square.

My brother got married on a Thursday in June about 4 years ago. It was fine! Everybody who wants to be there will make the effort.

Before we chose a Thursday we spoke to our immediate family and friends to see how they felt about it, and everyone thought it was fine. We are saving a lot of our money on our hall, have gotten discounts from vendors, and we have our pick of vendors and never have to really worry about our 1st choice being unavailable.
