how much should i expect to pay for photgraphy/video?

im sure this question has been asked time and time again ----- and im about to do it one more time ---lol...

i am planning on making appointments to see photgraphers and videographers next week and i am clueless on how much i should be expecting to hear people quote...

does anyone have some basic ideas what i should expect or can FM me ---

I am paying $2500 for photography. I am using Marcy Studio (a new vendor here). For videography, I am paying $1200 with Bellarino .

You'll hear a wide range of quotes. But just to give you an idea, ours was a little under $4000. That included our album, 2 parent albums, 2 8x10, 1 24 X 24, 125 thank yous, 3 videos (one for us and one for each parent)

i got mine separate so it was a bit pricey but if you get them together it is cheaper. I would say from about 3500 and up and uP and UP

I used Visual Concepts and paid about $5400 but we got alot for our money and our pics really came out good!! If you need more info, you can FM me

totally depends on what you want...

after doing some initial research, i budgeted 2-3K for photos only (not doing a “professional” video) and stuck to that. i also wanted to take care of albums myself, so that is not part of my 'package'.

my advice is always analyze the photos themselves and don't get 'sucked in' to the package offerings thinking you are getting a 'good deal'. i 'good deal' IMO, are quality photos, all the rest can be taken care of after the fact, but you really want the images to work for you the day of as those can't be re-taken...

We are paying 5000 , all inclusive so non of the options that some are paying seperate for. We choose to go with Duet.
