My FI booked his Vegas Bachelor Party 2 weeks before the wedding!!!

I know I should not be so mad but he didn't even see if we had anything and it is from Thursday to Monday 2 weeks before the wedding. He doesn't understand why I am so mad. He told me that my mom can help out. Am I overreacting? Should I just let it go? Thanks for letting me vent

Honestly? I'd let it go. I can see how your first reaction is to be pissed, but from someone who is two weeks away, I can tell you that there's not too much that needs to be done at this point, at least nothing that I absolutley need him for.

I think you can spare him for 4 days!

well, being that you know in advanced, now you can plan around it. he could of ran it by you though (i would at least)

I had only 2 rules for his bach party.

1. One month before
2. No strippers allowed in the hotel rooms!

Let it go. At least its not the NIGHT before....I've been to weddings where the groom's bachelor party was the night before and it wasn't pretty how he was the next day!

OMG I would kill my FH!

So would I!!!

I would let it go. Although my one rule was he couldn't go anywhere on a plane. I hate flying and I worry too much about him flying when he goes away on business...I didn't want the extra stress right before the wedding.

My FI is going to vegas 3 weeks before the wedding for the same time (thus-sun) I am happy he was going then. I wanted to make sure he was fully recovered before the wedding. I was glad it worked out that way, it is also my bachlorette weekend. I wouldn't be mad...let it go and relax. Just think of the extra time you will have without him there.

Same here!!

Two weeks would be a bit too close for my taste but I could deal. I'd actually have more of a problem with the fact that he didn't even bother or think to discuss the dates with me first...especially with a major life event 2 weeks away for both of us... seems a little self-centered to me... I just asked FH if he would have discussed it with me first and he said 'of course'.

my hubby went to new orleans two weeks before. i wouldnt stress it. if there isnt anythng going on, just let it be. enjoy yourself while he is gone. i relaxed, took a bath, read a book , got a manicure and pedicure and got together for lunch with the girls while he was away living it up. i had a ball! believe me it goes fast and just think how close your wedding is!

I feel stupid that I got so mad! It was just a total shock. I apologized for overreacting. It just seemed worse at the time when he told me 2 weeks before the wedding. I'm sorry I sounded like a baby
