I just finished "Little Children" by Tom Perotta. It was interesting and entertaining but I didn't like some of the characters' stories.

Agreed!!! I had very little sympathy for the vast majority of the characters - except for the kids, who everyone seemed to forget about.

I'm reading The Confessions of Max Tivoli by Sean Greer. It's about a guy who ages backwards. Pretty good so far.

X - you think??

I'm reading "The Real Mother" by Judith Michael. I'd post a pic but there's nothing offensive about it.

I'm reading:

The Shadow of the Wind
by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Its a mystery set in Spain in the '40's - I'm really enjoying it - a good fast read cause it ***** you in - I'm almost done with it so if anyone's read it don't tell the ending!!

ETA: - my "censored" word was s.u.c.k.s - that was funny!

Re: What's on your nightstand right now?????

Well it's not on my nightstand cause I read it on my lunchbreak but you get the idea. The Angry Ocean by Linda Greenlaw. She's the only female swordfish boat captain, kinda interesting. Her boat's the sister ship to the one lost in The Perfect Storm.

I bought that box set for FH for Chanukah.

Right now I'm reading Hungry Planet: What the world eats. It's actually more of a coffee table book, which makes it quite inconvenient to read in bed, but it's great.

Five People you Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom.
You have to read it! So sad, but worth it!!

I am also reading 'A Child Called It'
-KELLY

Both of those books are great. I could not put either one down. Have you read Tuesdays with Morrie also by Mitch Album? Its another wonderful book.
