Strange Fits of Passion by Anita Shreve
What did you think of this book? I thought it was like a Lifetime movie...it was ok.
I just finished The Devil Wears Prada...I really liked it.
I am now going to start the DaVinchi Code...cant wait!

Re: What's on your nightstand right now?????
Chloegirl - it was pretty good. The past few books I read, I didn't like that much (particularly Three Junes and A Widow For One Year) so it was nice to read something that kept me entertained the whole way through. But, you are right, it could be a Lifetime movie! (One I'd love to watch on a rainy Sunday
)I loved the Devil Wears Prada! Did you read the Nanny Diaries, its similar.
The book I'm reading now is good - My Sister's Keeper

The Pact is one of my favorites and one of the most haunting books I've ever read. I love Jody Picoult and I've been trying to get my hands on all her books. I just finished My Sister's Keeper (awesome) and Songs of the Humpback Whale (good, but not as good The Pact or Sister's Keeper).
Nanny Diaries was good too. Now I'm reading In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner.

They made a movie on Lifetime about a year ago. It was okay, but not nearly as good as the book. I'm sure you'll love it!

Which one did they make a movie about?I finished My Sister's Keeper - it is very well written, but very sad.
Now I'm reading 'Lucky' by Alice Sebold. I liked Lovely Bones, so I figured I'd try this one.

I just finished reading Everything's Eventual by Stephen King, it's a collection of short stories...some good ones and some bad ones, but worth giving a try.
