Love and hate my job.

Love it because we get lots of free meals (including today)
Hate it because I just heard that a bunch of coworkers are hanging out in the conference room discussing The Apprentice.
It's really like I don't even exist around here
Oh well!

I don't know...I wouldn't say cliquey.
I guess they just ...I don't know...
Really...We just all never became friendly.

wow - it's like you guys read my mind. i'm having that problem with my job in a huge way right now. i've only been here since last august but have not connected with anyone. it really makes work miserable. i hated my old job but at least after 3 years there i had friends. i miss that

I hate my job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm firendly with about half the peopel in this small office, but its really the job.
the outside peoepl I have to deal with drive nuts!
( and are mentally abusive.. .)

I understand what you are saying 100% I like my job because the firm is pretty laid back, my bosses are just GREAT and my job isn't too stressful (esp. lately)

But I think I'm on here so much because I do not "click" with my co-workers on a personal level at ALL!

I"ve been at this firm one year and the place is just TOO big to form any sorts of friendships.. and we're pretty much chained to our offices/desks ... there is no opportunity to socialize, even if I wanted to ..

Aside from my immediate department and co-workers, I don't even KNOW the rest of the firm!

Whereas at my old firm (I was there 10 years) I had so many good friends. I still miss them!!
