my puppy- I'm so sad!

my puppy- I'm so sad!

I know I haven't posted in a real long time but I have always found you ladies so supportive and wonderful....

Today I got a phone call from my dad at 6am telling me I should come home and say goodbye to me puppy (not so much of a puupy- but he'll always be to me!) because he hasn't been eating and he was yelping in pain all night. It has been a long time coming. I know it's the best so he won't suffer, but I am so sad.

My dad took him to the vet this morning and they put him to sleep. He was 21 (yes, I know that's very old) and only 10 days away from his 22 birthday!

Anyway, thanks for letting me get this out.

I know the bond of an animal as I share one with mine. Wow, 21 years old, I never heard of a dog living that long.

we had to put down our 6 yr old puppy a while back and know how hard it is!

My future neighbor

I am soooo sorry! I had a scare with my 11 year old puppy just a few months ago! I am so sorry that they had to put him to sleep! Years ago we had to put my dog to sleep and it was so hard but its even harder to see them in pain!!!

I had to put my 14 year old yorkie Reggie to sleep last summer. He was my baby. I miss him so much. Just remember that he is waiting for you by the rainbow bridge
