Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

Hey girls: DH and I had our reception at FT on May 16. You girls have absolutely NOTHING to worry about. George, Marianne and Ariantha(sp?), Andreas treated us so well. We are still getting phone calls, emails from our guests raving about the food, cake, pastries and service. DH and I were 10000000% satisfied with them.

If you have any questions, don't hesistate to ask

ETA: Pics from my wedding are posted on the review board.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

Hey Marcela.

Does FT supply bathroom baskets? Also, did you take family portraits? If so, where in FT did you take those? (maybe you took them at the gazebo in Garden City, tho?)

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

I don't think they supply bathroom baskets. Well I never asked, they didn't say anything to me and I never went to the bathroom once at FT. (there was no way I was going to the bathroom with my gown on, I would've needed 2 people to help me ). I did make one for the bridal suite. I put tums, immodium ad, advil, excedrin, gum, and shout wipes (which came in handy since DH spilled food all over his tux before we were even announced.

As for pics, we took the family potraits at the church. Just DH and I did potraits at FT. You could take potraits in the garden room or upstairs at the entrance of the ballroom.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

the cake was sooooooooo good and I usually HATE cake. it was raspberry and chocolate i think. or strawberry lol i can't remember-but it was really good. probably the best wedding cake i've tasted and i've been to a ton of weddings all over. and my friend had the chair covers--they looked GORGEOUS!! They were the first things I noticed when we entered the room!!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

I am glad the cake was good!

I hoping there is a little something in the bathroom...I love when I am at a wedding and there is a bathroom basket...I know I can do them myself, but I have plenty else to worry about!

Marcela: do you have pictures of your centerpieces?

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

I agree the cake was soooooooooo yummy! I also had the chair covers and they looked beautiful They also did menus for us.

Yes I have a pic but it's not scanned in. I will scan it in this weekend and post it.

I'm sure if you ask them to put a basket in the bathroom they will do it for you. They are sooo accomodating.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

After reading the review and how people raved about the viennese hour.....I am considering it myself.

DO you think that its too much to add for a Sunday night? DO you think people are going to look to get home??

25 days-WOW you are almost there!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread...

I definitely don't think it's too much and just remember that the most important people will stay. It's your wedding and you want to make it last as long as possible. If you are making menus or getting them from the FT, and the guests see that a Viennesse hour is coming, then they definitely will not leave!!!!!!
