We send are payments through the mail. I've only been there twice. Do you know if they offer sampling? I've never been there for a wedding or any other event.

I think if you ask for one, they will do it. I remember someone else told me that they had them come in the same day as a party was going on and they had them sample the cocktail food....
I haven't sampled food only because I have heard so many good things about it...plus, FSIL had her wedding at Sandcastle which has the same owner...her food was amazing, so I am sure FT will be awesome too!
Who are you working with at FT?

My cousin had her wedding at the Sandcastle too and I thought the food was good. I'm working with Marianne. She's so sweet! Maybe I'll call for a sampling when I get back from vacation.
Are you taking advantage of the complimentary honeymoon? I will be and infact will take a look at the Aegean Palace when I go to Crete in two weeks. My cousin said it's amazing! She has a place in Crete and has been to the Aegean Palace's hotel to use their pool!

I don't know but I could ask my family. I'm doing a mini-honeymoon in Vermont the weekend of our wedding. I love Vermont and so we decided to get married on a Friday so that we have a long weekend--the Monday following is Columbus day and then a 3 weeks- 1 month honeymoon the following summer. I'm a teacher and don't want to take off so early in the year. I feel that's doing a disservice to the kids to leave them for a HM in October. When I asked Marianne about the comp HM, she said we have up to a year from our wedding date to book. So we're going to take advantage of it!

wow what a great idea! Although FI is set on Hawaii...we shall see! All this FT talk has gotten me wanting to go visit this weekend!!!!

I am so excited about my reception at FT...I went to a wedding there a year ago- didn't like the cake but they assured me they've changed bakers since then..
What extras are you guys getting??
I did chair covers and will decide on Viennese at the final meeting
My enhancements are lobsters, full viennese table, chaircovers, and NYC to go cart--so far.
Might add sushi and caviar bars, seafood presentation and cigar bar- though i don't eat any seafood and hate any type of smoking!

I went to drop a payment off last weekend and walked through the place. It had been a while since i went in there.
The tables were set up for someones wedding and looked beautiful. (even without the flowers there yet)
The people who work there were so nice when we were poking around-
I am psyched!

Does FT supply bathroom baskets? Also, did you take family portraits? If so, where in FT did you take those? (maybe you took them at the gazebo in Garden City, tho?)
i went there last night for my plans and to pick out the menu. i asked about bathroom baskets and attendants. there are bathroom attendants and baskets. but i think the baskets are small, not to much in them
