Everyones got an opinion.... (sorry, I'm venting)

Argh - I'm not telling anyone the names we have picked out for OUR child any more and I'm not telling them that we ARE finding out the sex of the baby. Everyone asks me what names we have picked out and then says 'oh, that's nice, (with just a hint of sarcasm)' - and they aren't even weird names. And then they ask if we are finding out the sex of the baby and they say 'Oh, I wouldn't want to find out - are you sure you want to?' - YES I'M SURE, and last time I checked it was a decision that my husband and I make!!!

I'm sorry honey! You will do what you and your DH want to do! FORGET EVERYONE ELSES' OPINION!

What names do you have pikcked out if you don't mind sharing...I'm curious. I have a thing for unique names!

They really aren't strange names:
for a girl definately - Mallory Christine
for a boy - maybe Cooper Lee (Lee is Chris' middle name), or Keegan

I am with you! I will HAVE to find out when I am pregnant.. I hate surprises....

As far as everyone else....who cares what they say....Its you and DH's decision!!



ps...there is nothing wrong with those names, I like them

Lovely names!
I had a neighbor who named her daughter Mallory Morgan

I like Cooper Lee....very noble
My cousin named her son Keegan Bryce (and he's almost 2)

We didnt tell anyone our names until she was here. In the beginning we did tell people the names that we were considering and everyone had to put their 2 cents in. People are unbelievable sometimes! After the fact no one says anything because then its already done!

I had the same problem with Jordan - I should know better by now When I told people that I had picked out the name Jordan for a boy, they said 'Isn't that a girls name?' Some people need to keep their opinions to themselves, or just away from moody pregnant women

I love those names!! They are great, different but not weird (like Apple ) People will always have opinions, so just ignore them and do what is best for you & your husband.

Jordan is a great name too and I think it can be used as both a boys or girls name. My name is Christian and all my life I heard that is a boys name, NO!!! not in all situations as I am a girl It would make me nuts to hear that. In kindergarden the school even called my mom to say that she signed her son up for school as a girl.

That's why we're keeping our name choices private until our baby is here. It goes from people putting their 2 cents in about your wedding plans and now people putting their 2 cents in about your baby! You can't win

I know what you mean. People ask me what names I'm thinking of and when I tell them our girl name choices, either Elizabeth or Kiara, they say oh Elizabeth is such a nice name.

I feel like saying and what is Kiara, a bad name? Besides I'm not asking you for your thoughts.

BTW-I don't think your names are bad at all. They're different but nice.
