Need help with Maid of Honor Speech!!! Pleeease!!

My friends wedding is next weekend and I will be giving a toast as the Maid of Honor - yikes! Has anyone given a speech that they could give me advice on?
I know it is supposed to come from the heart, but I am not good in the spotlight and I tend to say uhhh.... a lot.
Help!!
I would love to give a funny, light-hearted speech but I don't know where to begin.

Try to think of a funny story or anecdote, a moment that the two of you shared (that you can tastefully share with others) and relate it to your friendship, the wedding day, her relationship to her FH, or to love & marriage in general. Keep short and sweet, and make sure you PRACTICE it beforehand!

This might help...

Years ago i went to a wedding where a best man got up and red this really nice poem (not a poem but like a really nice verse)...well as we are all staring at this guy (he is not known for sentimentality) he says at the end 'Jane Doe - Halmark Cards'...then he goes to so and so and so and so...may the happest days of your past be the saddest days of your future.....

It was really amazing....so my advice is go to a hallmark store, get one of those cards that have one of those long verses on, copy it and then do what he did.....

I know someone who read a Blue Mountain card..... it was really sweet because it was everything she wanted to say to her sis!

My friend was MOH at a wedding and we worked together on her speech. She had to give hers after the BM so it made it easier on her. She kept hers short...it's too hard to describe so I'll basically write what she said...
