Could not find Alley Pond Park in Northern Blvd-?

It was under construction, and I could not find the other exit to get in. Where else can I go to get into this Park on Northern Blvd?

When you are coming from Nassau on the LIE-head towards the exit for Cross Island Parkway North. That splits off and there is a sign for Alley Pond. BUT I have never taken it so I am not sure from there how easy it is. Hope this helps.

I know you can get into it from Winchester blvd. Off of Union tpk

After you take the cross Island Parkway exit north, you get off the exit and it is not too far up the road. If you cross over Douglaston Parkway, I believe you've gone too far. Hope that helps.

The exit off the Cross Island is not open -- enter from Winchester Blvd.

I agree with the other posters - enter from Winchester Blvd. The Alley Pond on Northern Blvd is the educational center/preserve. Not sure if you're looking for photo spots but you may also want to check out Fort Totten and Whitestone Park for some bridge/water views.
