wedding dress shopping

I think I am going to start looking for a dress next month, just wondering if anyone had some helpful tips. Should I bring anything with me? Shoes with heels even if there not white? Please help! I am absolutely clueless. Who did you bring dress shoping with you?

My tips for dress shopping are as follows:

1) Bring shoes with heels similar to what you think you'll be wearing on your day. The color doesn't matter.

2) Wear nice underwear and a nice bra. You will be exposed like you have never been before. You don't want to be embarrassed!

3) Bring hair clips, this way you can see how your dress will look with your hair in different ways. It was good that I was able to put mine up.

4) Open your mind and tryo on things you don't like on the hanger. You might end up liking a style you don't think you will.

5) HAVE FUN!!!!! THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME THING!!!!!

One thing I regret to bring was a camera. I wished I had brought one! I have a picture of the dress in a magazine but I wished I brought camera so I can always look at it when I need to. I have to wait for first fitting!

Just go and have fun. Trying on dresses was so fun!
