Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
I hate having to wait two years for the wedding, but because of school, it was just better off this way. Anyone else going crazy waiting??????

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
when i get married it will be just under a two year engagement. I actually kind of liked it though - gave us time to relax and enjoy it before starting the planning. It was actually supposed to be a 3 year engagement, but after about 6 months we decided that 3 years was far too much
And actually 6/25/06 was our date if we were going to have it in '06 :)
Congratulations and best of luck to you as you begin to plan :)

I did not have much of a choice anyway. Most of the halls I went to were booked for 2005. I couldn't believe it.

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
No but i am saying that when we were looking at places in 2002 they told us 2005 was booked. I remember the watermill and the cresent beach club both told us that.

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
That is weird! Watermill is one of the places I am looking at. They told me not only was 2005 booked but, they just booked a wedding for 2007. It's crazy how early everyone books their weddings.

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
It will go fast. There is so much to do...be thankful you are not being rushed. I just feel like it's this next year that is going to go by slow. I think the yr before will go fast. It's just that so much is going on w/ graduation this may (for FH and I both)...so I want time to fly...it probably won't though.
Still...I love planning with ya
Before you know it...you will have been married for ten yrs and you will be wondering where the time went!

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
We will be engaged just shy of 2 years...(engaged April 10, 2004 & married March 31, 2006)I am glad we have the time we do to plan...Of course their are days I wish this was all over & we were married but I know in the end it will be best...Both FH & I want to purchase a house before the wedding plus we are paying for the wedding...We work crazy jobs & that has attributed to a 2006 wedding...
Trust me, things are going to fly by! I can't wait, but you are not alone!

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
We had to wait too.. We got engaged June 2003, and we're getting married in 7 months now, it was a year and 9 months, and it's flown by.. so don't listen to everyonelse when they say, 'Oh my god, you have so long until the wedding' uggh.. i hated that. now people are finally realizing, it's not much time.. We did it for school reasons too. but good luck,a nd I promise you.. TIME FLIES BY!!!!!!!!

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
We got engaged 5 years before our wedding. It was fun to gather all the info and questions and ideas for a while. But the last year has flown by and its less then 60 days to our wedding. There is plenty you can do now, start looking for invites, bo-k's and most of all your dress. I picked out my dress 3 years before the wedding, I put a deposit on it. The price went up and I got the lower price. Start checking out vendors when you have time, a lot of them raise their prices every year and the earlier you book the better chance you have of getting the lower rate.

Re: Is anyones wedding at least two years away?
Mine was two years away when we got engaged. Now it is less than a year. I'm glad I did most of the planning already.
