Limo/Car Service Budget

How much did you guys spend.. we need a large luxury bus, or some kind of transportation to get the wedding party and us (14 people) to our venue before the ceremony for pics.. we may go somewhere else first- depending on weather, timing, etc.

Then we need to arrange something else for after the reception..for me and FH

We'll also need a bus, or a couple of 12 person vans to bring from the hotel to the venue.. before for non-wedding party guests and after-- everyone else who didn't drive except me and FH.

Anyone doing something similar? How much did you spend?

Re: Limo/Car Service Budget

Hello!
We got a 22 passenger Hummer for us and the bridal party. it was $850.
The limo compnay will usually thorw in a ride for free for the bride and groom after the wedding.
We are using a shuttle service through our hotel. it is $300 (the hotel is huntington hilton) Some hotels have free shuttle service.

Re: Limo/Car Service Budget

Our hotel provides as well-- $60 bucks each way-- we'll probably do that.. to take care of everyone, plus wedding party on the way back..

How long do you have the Hummer for??

We really only need transportation for like an hour.. MAX 2 hours..

How easy is it work with limo companies- do they tell you that you need to book for like a minimum number of hours? I am worried this is going to cost more than we need it to.. I don't mind spending money, as long as it is worth it, and not a waste.

Re: Limo/Car Service Budget

I think we have it for 3 or 4 hours, I'm not sure. If you do just a pick up and drop off it might be cheaper.

Re: Limo/Car Service Budget

If it's strictly pick up and drop off it will be much cheaper, but if you need to make any stops, most companies charge for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
