Anyone else have a hard time telling people NO?
Ok, this woman I used to babysit for called me yesterday. I babysat for her son when I was looking for a full time job (which I now have).I had also sent her a save the date card, and I thought she was calling to say Thanks.
She did say Ohhow cute by the way can you babysit tomorrow (after my 9-5 job) for about 3 hours. Her babysitter now has a wedding to go to and cant work, she's in a bind and needs help.
Of course I felt bad and even though I am exhausted after Im done with my regular job, I said yes.
Does anyone else feel bad telling people no??

Yes - I admit I have a very hard time telling people 'NO' - I am the biggest push-over.

Re: Anyone else have a hard time telling people NO?
One of my biggest downfalls! I absolutely have the hard time saying no and get stepped on and used all the time because of it.

Re: Anyone else have a hard time telling people NO?
Yes and no. There are certain people, like my sister, that I can not say no to. She's so used to me doing whatever she asks that the rare occasions I say no, she won't talk to me for a week. Just this morning she needed me to help her and she knew I had a fitting. I wound up hitting traffic and was 40 minutes late because of her.

I never say no. That's why I'm a constant stress-case.
