QOTD: LIW pet peeves

I'll start. There are a few.
1. People who bump threads like 12 minutes after they went up in the first place. We need to read people.
2. Literal people who cannot take a joke.
3. Spelling. (G-d invented spell check for a reason people -- I mean we all make typos, but come on)
4. Unnecessary mean spirited drama and personal attacks.
5. New brides who JUST HAVE TO tell you about this ONE GREAT vendor...."joe's video is so incredible." I have no other vendors to rate, just the one.

I guess seeing TONS of people looking at your post and not commenting. I would rather hear criticism then nothing at all. Its not really a pet peeve, it just hurts my feelings b/c I start to get a complex.

I'm a horrible speller so I can't really say its a pet peeve..plus sometimes I just don't spellcheck..I should but LOL..I don't really have any LIW pet peeves LOL

I definately agree with the drama. I have noticed more lately on the '05 boards. We are here to help not judge one another.

I guess seeing TONS of people looking at your post and not commenting. I would rather hear criticism then nothing at all. Its not really a pet peeve, it just hurts my feelings b/c I start to get a complex

This really bothers me because I'm very anal, but it drives me crazy when people use "u" instead of "you" and "ur" instead of "your" and other similar abbreviations. I know people are typing in a hurry, but it's only 2 more letters to type.

ETA: Oh and when people ask for "adviSe" instead of "adviCe"--I know I'm being picky but that's why it's a pet peeve

I agree with some of Deb's comments...

1- Spelling..

2- People not responding to you..

3- I know this may bother some people- but when someone posts something that is like not really worthy of a post.. I mean, if you get your dress, or booked your reception venue- or something else really big, ok.. But sometimes it is like excessive posting to me... Like "Bought my stockings today" (this is just an example).. I mean, they are stockings people, or whatever it may be.

The use of the term "lol" after every other sentence to make it seem like you are saying everything you are in a joking manner, when really you are being nasty, conceited, or sarcastic.
