Re: Mets game
I am a Met Fan but honestly I have to say that I have no excitement in watching any game of theirs right now. Their season has been over since august.
How can you be looking forward to this??? LOL LOL

Re: Mets game
Well at least the tickets were for free...LOL
someone gave my hubby tickets to a game. the seats were box loge level. Great seats but we were like "who really wants to go to a met game now, they suck" but the tickets were free...we gave them to a neighbor, we couldn't make it. why weren't these tickets available when they were doing good.

Re: Mets game
I just know my FH called me and told me someone at work gave them to him for free and he asked me if I wanted to go. Its funny b/c I thought my FH was a mets fan, but I could be wrong Im getting him confused w/ my brother. I think my FH is a Yankees fan. The only time I ever follow baseball is the payoffs or world series. I am orginally for MA, so I route for the redsocks.

Re: Mets game
I don't like the redsox, and nothing agains you personally but the fans are rude. My brother(a yankee fan)went to boston at a redsox vs. yankee game and this redsox fan was sitting in his seat and wouldn't get up. they argued back and forth and the guy threatened to kick my brother's ***...meanwhile it wasn't even that guys seat. My brother went and got an usher or something and then the guy moved. at another redsox/yankee game in boston that my brother went to he saw this yankee fan being picked on...they grabbed his cap off and started throwing it around and were refusing to give it back to him.....
However I do hate the yankees and the fans (except my brother) even more than boston. and I do root for boston against the yankees even though. My husband is like "but boston are anti new york" they are not anti new york, it just seems like that cuz they are anti yankees...

That is rude. Just get up and move. My cousin is the sam way. He's a mets fan. He hates the yankees, but he rather see the Redsocks win over the yankees. But he dosn't like the redsocks either.

Re: Mets game
A rivalry is one thing but when people start getting stupid, then that's another.

Re: Mets game
Is this how people usually act at games? Or is this just Boston games? This is my first game ever.
