Re: going to book at hotel for oot guests
just make sure you ask if you have to guarantee any of the rooms that you block...and if you do, how many (don't want you to get stuck paying for rooms that people don't reserve!)

Also, ask if they can provide shuttle service to and from the reception hall. Ask what time the lounge/bar is open until. Ask if they offer free continental breakfast. Are there any incentives to blocking all the rooms (they will sometimes upgrade your bridal suite).

Re: going to book at hotel for oot guests
make sure you ask to see all the rooms, etc. There may be a difference in price at diff. hotels- but, no one wants to get ready for a wedding in a small room.Ask to see the hotel amneities too.
Also make sure you know when your guests need to book by so you can put that info somewhere.

if you are doing bags for OOT guests, make sure the hotel will give them out upon check in.

ASK IF THEY PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT AND IF THE SERVE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST.

as another carlyle bride, just curious as to which hotel you are booking...i'm thinking of either the inn at fox hollow or the melville mariott.

Re: going to book at hotel for oot guests
I was a guest at a Carlyle wedding last weekend, we stayed at the Huntington Hilton. It was very nice and very convenient. The Hilton shuttle worked out great. They also had a bar in the lobby that was open late.

Re: going to book at hotel for oot guests
i went with the hilton. the shuttle is a little pricey but being that i am having a morning wedding i took it just in case. we are planning on having an after party at the bar/lounge so i thought it would be fun to have everyone staying in the same place. i am also going to book some at the holiday inn so that if people can't afford the hilton they will have another option.Welcome New Vendors
