Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
Ok.. I know there is a lot of stuff we need..- something to post the ketubah on- to show the 'congregation'
- kiddish cup
- glass/napkin
What else? I know I am forgetting something.. Also, is there like a Jewish wedding kit somewhere- that would have all this stuff?? Or, do we just get everything separately at a Judaica shop or something??

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
Staples?? Lots of businesses use them..Do you know any places that we can get the 'Mazel tov' glasses- then you send it in so it can be put together again as a keepsake?? Do you know what I am talking about??

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
We got our breaking glass at Yussel's, and I know they sell them at the Zion Lion.LOTS of Judaica stores will have them - they're somewhat en vogue.

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
Isn't putting it back together kind of antithetical to teh whole thing? i'm not criticizing, I'm just wondering...The hall probably has an easel..def ask!

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
It doesn't get put back together, it's crushed further and then put in the stem of a kiddush cup, or in a mezzuzah, or a picture frame, or something. It's a nice way to keep it.

Sorry, do not know about specific paraphenalia but I can tell you -- we are renting one, you can rent an easel from your florist.

Re: Jewish Brides-- Ceremony Paraphenalia
I'll check fortunoff! Now that it's nearing winter, hopefully they'll also put out more menorahs. We registered for basiclaly everyhting lenox (seder plate, challah plate and kinefe, etc), but FH doens't like the lenox menorah b/c it isn't the traditional shape.
