NWR: FH VENT!!!!(sorry long post)

Ok, those of you who saw my post on my 'wonderful' FH who gave my friend and I a night at a spa in Palm Springs this weekend, the man is soooo dead. He is away with the guys for their yearly golf and strip club weekend. Now I know why he was so nice about this 'gift'. Since he has been with the guys, I have heard from him once. This is after 4 phone calls from me and one from my sister when we are trying to make flight arrangements for Christmas to his moms. ALSO we have a written relationship rule that when one of us goes out with a friend, no matter how late, we call the other to say goodnight. It now 12:30 on the East Coast. AND last year, when we were first dating he called me constantly to say he missed me.
This man is going to pay- he is beginning to take advantage of my very good and supportive nature.
Thanks for listening and letting me vent. All my friends and family think this man is 'perfect' so no one else would listen.!!!!!

first of all... back up to annual strip club weekend. Why do men 'need' to go to strip clubs. Maybe I'm missing something.


I would give it to him just for that. But I have a huge problem with strip clubs - so it may be just me... good luck either way...

I totally sympathize with you!! You totally have to stick it to him when you talk!!! I go through the same thing all the time.... Everyone thinks FH is so perfect (including my mom ) that i can never complain, b/c i always get 'well he's such a great person, just get over it/ let it go' Whatever. great people do stupid things sometimes, and should still have to be responsible for their actions!!!!! haha ok, sorry to take over you vent, But, remember, eventhough you're family/ friends dont understand, We're always here for a healthy dose of man bashing

If he can play why can't you? You should have been out with your girls, having a couple of cocktails, and not paying attention to what time he gets home. Things are always worst when you're home.

It's just the simple difference between men and women after they get comfortable. NEVER compare to the beginning, because that doesn't exist anymore. Men don't think like we do. (It's because we're smarter, but we can continue letting them think they are , shhh)

Do make sure though he knows how you feel.

for all of you wonderful suppportive females! He did call, only after I left an incredibly pissed off message telling him Thanks for calling and letting me know you are alive. And the call came at 1:00 am- MY TIME! He was like, hi! I was soooo angry, when he said I love you, I just hung up. I just can't believe he would wake me up just so he could feel better. Especially when I have an interview this morning for a promotion in my school district.

He is Mytle Beach by the way, so sorry Aga- I wish you could go beat him up!

I don't care about the strip club stuff, that never bothers me since it is really not his thing. But with this behavior, I now am starting to wonder what else is new with Mr. Incredible.

Then he calls this morning- He and his friend laughing it up in the background- HI honey, I love you, I am so lucky to have you, like this is going to make it all better. I was not nice.
I said I love you- halfheartly and he was like, you don't sound like you mean it. I told him we would talk later and he said- you can talk now, this guy is like my brother. I told him- later- let him sweat it. He wished me luck on my interview and that was it.

SO I am still pissed off and we will be having a major talk, not just about this but about everything lately. He's just not the same loving person I got engaged to and I feel taken for granted at this point. It will change or he will not like the person he is with.
SO there is my very long and pathetic tale. I know it can't be like it was in the beginning but all I am asking for is a little consideration.
