Salary and benefits poll- sick days posts got me thinking

I know it is not my business so feel free not to answer- just curious how my job and benefits compare to other L.I. girls....
I know I am lucky in the benefits dept- I get 12 sick days, 6 personal days, and 4 weeks vacation.
How is everyone else doing?

well you are VERY lucky.......i get now 80 hours of vac and 24 sick.......next year it goes to 3 weeks of vac and 32 sick................

I get 4 weeks vacation, unlimmited sick and 3 personal days.

I get 3 weeks vacation (b/c I have been there over 3 years), 2 personal days and 5 sick days. Seems pretty low compared to others.

I have 3 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, maybe 3 personal days? I don't remember about the personal days.

I get 12 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 4 weeks vacation - I've been with my company for 10 years.

I get 12 days of Paid Time Off plus 5 paid sick days.

OMG, this sucks!! I only get 2 weeks vacation and a week of 'unscheduled' days - that's sick/personal days all together.

ETS: And I've been here 4 years in January!

I get threee weeks Vacation, one Elective Holiday and five Sick/Personal days.

2 weeks vacation, 4 personal days, unlimited sick days (but no one uses them) And we get all the holidays off.

2 weeks vacation, 3 personal days, and Summer Fridays (every other Friday off from Memorial Day to Labor Day.)

I have 3 weeks vacation, 6 personal/sick days. I work for an Orthodox Jewish company so we close early on Fridays and have all the Jewish holidays off which can add 5 - 12 days off for us.

I get 20 days of what they call PTO (paid time off) - that includes sick and vacation time - it is rolled into one sum. Additionally, I get 3 personal days or floaters. And 10 paid closed holidays. So, 33 days altogether. I have been with my company 3.5 yrs. After 5 yrs, paid time off increases.

We also have summer fridays (get out at noon every fri Mem Day-Labor Day) but have to work an extra hour each day during the work week to make up for it but its a nice program.

I've been at my job for 3 years. I get 4 weeks vacation, I think 12 or 14 days sick, and a bunch of personal days I think it's 6.

My company starts with 2 weeks vacation but after 5 years you are at 3 weeks so I get three weeks vacation, 3 personal days, 1 floating holiday and then sick time (I think 10 days - but I never use it all so it isn't a issue).

i get two weeks vacation. I think you get an increase after 5 years (i'll be here three in Feb, although I hope to not be here in Feb).
Sucks because DH gets 4.

Sick days are sort of unnumbered. They just ask that you not take advantage, so if you take too many you will get a poor review.

One of the only perks of working at a law firm in NYC is that the PTO is really good

I get 4 weeks vacation (20 days), 8 sick and 2 personal days.. though at this firm its all lumped together as 'Paid Time Off' for a total of 30 days you can use however you'd like

My old firm was a bit more generous - 20 days vacation, unlimited sick, 2 personal. Though about the time I was leaving, they were doing away with the 'unlimited sick' time since 'certain people' were abusing that privilege!!

I get:
3 weeks vacation
4 personal
Unlimited sick days

No summer fridays , but I leave at 4:30 everyday!

i've only been here 4 months, but next year i get 11 vacation days, 2 floaters, 3 personal dys and 8 sick days (2 per quarter). i hate how they break it up into so many categories. just give me a bank of time and let me choose how i want to use it! are we adults or what?

I have 3 weeks vacation (been here 3+ years) and 10 personal/sick days and 3 floater holidays. We also get 3 summer fridays off. It is frowned on if you use all of of the personal/sick days....but I personally don't care...I take what I need!
