MOB/MOG Dresses

My brother is getting married in April and my Mom needs to get a dress. The place she bought hers for my wedding is closed and I need some recommendations. She doesn't want to spend $800 for a dress but wants something really nice. Has anyone's mom gotten something nice (with a reasonable price tag) and where? Thanks. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Try Sophisticated Lady in Patchogue. It is far but well worth it. Tons of selection, reasonably priced, sweet helpful ladies. They are on Main Street in Patchogue.

Flowerama is a little cheaper and sells the same type of dresses. There is one on Myrtle Ave in Glendale or at Macy's in Manhasset. There are other locations.

You can try David's Bridal, my mother in law got her dress there. They have nice dresses, worth trying there too.

I am doing the same thing for the guests that are coming back to the house to kill 2 hours after the ceremony. I can't do the toiletry basket at the Coral House because the bathroom isn't 100% restrictive to my party.

My mom got her dress at Estelles dressy dresses on Rte 110. She got the shoes and bag at estelles too. She said she was impressed that she was able to match the shoes and find and exact match in color for the pocketbook. She said the dress fits her perfectly. And everyone who goes there knows they are cheaper in price.

I just wanted to share how TRULY wonderful my FI is. For those of you not familiar with my situation, I was married once before (13 years ago) and my family has been less than helpful and felt I didn't deserve another bridal shower because I was married once before, my FI has never.
