You couldnt pay me enough to go out on Friday - I am hiding in my house!

A co-worker and I were just saying that if we go out on Friday we will end up in jail for sure!

I dont think I have patience to go shopping on Friday... I did some shopping yesterday, Macy's is having sale on a lot of clothing, 30-75% off, I bought two blazers and a shirt

Ulta was having a big sale this week also. I bought this huge makeup case for only $22.50. It has all the 'ulta' makeup in it.

FYI there is a lady on LI - refered by D&D05 that can MAKE your original dress..ok

did you girls start your christmas shopping yet? I was going to yesterday but after two hours my back gave out and had to go home... but at least I got some ideas from Oprah on Monday

she had her favorite things show

FN and FN and FSIL will all be in from out of state. We are taking 4 adult women and 5 kids into see the Christmas Show at Radio City while all of the guys help build a small deck on my house.

I hope it's not too much of a zoo in NYC. Everyone has to hold hands

Well NYC is a zoo on any given day but have fun at the show! I saw it on Saturday - I love the Rockettes!!!!

I'm with you! No way am I waking up at the crack of dawn to get trampled on at the mall. no. way. i dont have enough patience and unfortunately i dont think I'm nice enough to deal with the crowds like a normal person. I cant even go to the mall on a Saturday!

I'm going to Walmart.. Expecting to get trampled, have numerous items pulled out of my hands and cart.. Try not to get into a fight with the slow check out girl.. hmmm.. I can't wait!!! It's all part of the holidays!

I'm one of those people, where if I HAVE to shop at the mall, I'll go either when it first opens or towards the end of the day.

Otherwise, I try to support the local mom and pop shops as much as possible--for me, they usually have what I'm looking for, without all the hassel.

Another option is Internet or catalogue shopping!

last couple of years I have been Christmas shopping more and more on the internet, you usually find it quicker, no check out lines (but thats only good if you know exactly what you want)

oh weve got wedding appts up the wazoo!

Only time we can come down is for holidays so we take advantage- traffic is gonna suck though

Next year, ill be getting married on Black Friday- do you think thats a bad omen though?

I just heard on the News that it is called Black friday because that is when all the business' come out of the red and stay that way until the end of the year. So it's in no way a bad omen!!!

LOL! Only way I would go out shopping on Black Friday is in full police riot gear. I'm mostly done holiday shopping, just my Secrest Santas and a few odds and ends. My sister LOVES to wrap gifts, so she and my brother are coming to wrap stuff. free labor!
