Is there ALWAYS implantation bleeding?...

and if so, and you experienced what could have been construed as 'implantation' bleeding, and then took a home pregnancy test like EPT, wouldn't it show a positive result?

It depends how early it is -- and NO there isn't always bleeding - I didn't.

Thanks! I didn't think that there was always implantation bleeding. I'm just flipping out a little. I'm not ready to be pregnant yet. My period was due 12/4 to 12/6 or 12/7. It started 'lightly' on the 7th and only a tad more today (the 8th). I don't think it's implantation (wouldn't that have occurred same day or at least only 1 or 2 days after the last time I could have possibly conceived - on 11/28?)

Implantation occurs between 4-10 days from conception, and most people do not see any bleeding/spotting. The most sensitive pregnancy tests can reliably detect hcg in your system from around the time AF is expected...usually a week or more since the time of implantation.

I did... about one week after I ovulated... it was very light, and only lasted about a half-hour... I thought it was AF coming WAY early again, but it stopped very quickly and then I never got AF the following week
