Good and Bad news!!!
We got the boys!!!  They are sending us the contract and this process will officially begin!!!! I got their files last night and learned alittle more about them. They both love soccor and spaghetti, one wants to be a doctor and one wants to be a pilot!!
The bad news is..they will NOT find out they are bing adopted until Ethiopia approves us, and that may be two to three months. I wished they could know sooner, the only postive is that when they DO find out, they will only have to wait a very short time until I am there to bring them home. I just wish they knew, one of the boys doesnt remember his mom at all, his father just died of aids and his baby brother is dying now of aids. it is heart breaking. the other little boy's mom just died this past May and his father died when he was very little. The grief they must live with, it kills me. But atleast I know that they will be mine and they will be safe and loved and I will work with them and their grief. I am so happy to know they are MINE>>>YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE
Their names are Biruk and Paulos, both in the second grade, but one is 7 and one is 8!! They only sent me zerox pictures..but I am hoping that since Im signing a contract, that thwy will send me a real picture so that I can post it!! They are such beautiful little boys!!!!
All of your kindthoughts, prayers and well sishes worked..this wasnt originally supposed to happen until after christmas, possibly mid January..and here we are at mid december...this is amazing! Next step is immigration, and hopefully that will go fast as well!!!

You guys make me feel sooooooo good!!! Thank you!!! I am truly blessed..for people like you offering such support and saying such nice things and to be able to adopt these boys, I am so happy right now. I never expected this...if you would have told me a year ago that Id be adopting two older boys from Ethiopia..I would have never believed you...this has been amazing!!!
We have more good news today, my sister still has the twins, she went in last week and their was only one heart beat, the DR. told her to expect to lose one of the babies, but when she went in today, there were TWO heartbeats and it was determined that the baby with no heartbeat last week must have implanted a few days later and thats why there was no herat beat. Its amazing..Ive never heard of this..but am so thrilled for my sister. Now if we can just get rid of my husbands tumor once and for all..we'll be smooth sailing! Thanks again everyone!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you on the two boys and how quickly things are moving for you BUT I MUST MUST MUST POST on the AMAZING NEWS of your sister.....the dr. told me that there was no h/b on my baby and that we were going to loose her and SHE WAS SO WRONG! WHen i read what you posted just now I cryed tears of happiness, just brings back very very very emotional feelings! I am so happy for you, your sister and her husband and your family!
God bless you all and take that bad news down its all good news to me!
to think you and your sister are going to have 2 kids each
