RePost from NWR Give of yourself and you could also win a house

As some of you know, as I posted on BHB, I lost my grandma last night. It has been very hard on the family and we are all trying to keep our spirits up for the holidays. A friend of mine told me that sometimes doing something good for others helps ease some of the pain.

I decided to take my friend's advice on this and pay it forward.

I work for a small attorney's office in Northport. One of the partner's daughter was diagnosised with medulloblastoma (a malignant brain tumor) last year. The House of Hope is conducting a fundraiser to benefit Children's brain tumor foundation, parent prject muscular dystrophy and to help with medical trust funds. For $20 you can help this worthy cause and buy a chance to win a brand new home in Florida. The following links are for more information and also Nichole O'Connor's web siteNichole O'Connor

Re: RePost from NWR Give of yourself and you could also win a house

I just want to add that I have had the opportunity to interact with this adorable little girl (Nichole O'Connor), and she is one of the absolute sweetest, most lovable little girls I've ever met in my whole life. It shocks me how an 8 yr old that came so close to death can be so positve all the time.

I do have to add that her parents and family (I've met a brother) are amazing people. It takes a lot to do what they do, and to deal with what they've been through, but I can definitely see where Nichole gets her sweetness and postive outlook from. What a loving, close knit family...

thank you halfptny for bringing this up - she definitely deserves it.

Yes, I started working for Nichole's dad in July and I can honestly say I have never worked for a better bunch of caring people. Such a terrible tragedy to befall such a beautiful little girl and wonderful family. My thoughts are with them this holiday season and the upcoming New Year
