Any Chateau La Mer Brides (Grooms?)

I know I'm a bit premature here (we're not even officially engaged), but we're going to soon be planning a July 2006 wedding and I'm really leaning towards CLM (w/ Riviera a close 2nd).

Any pictures/comments?

The blue room is what, the cocktail hour room?

There are 2 main ballrooms? Or is the cocktail hour also then the reception room for 1 wedding?

I went to a wedding there in 96, but it was different & she was the only wedding there.

I remember the food being wonderful.

She had gotten a package including CP & her ceremony. I remember she lucked out b/c it was the beginning of Dec. but a fluke day where it was 50 degrees.

Do you have rates for 06 that you can FM me, I know someone (sorry...I forgot your name) posted the prices they received for 05.

I also hear that some girls were able to have the fountain included or reduced?

We are paying 80pp plus tax and grat for a friday night in July.

There are 2 main ballrooms separate fro mthe CH room

ch is the blue room and outside as well

They do 2 weddings per night in the summer but they scatter them by 2 hours so you dont see anyone. The upstairs room is the smaller and the min is 100 people. The downstairs room is 150min.

The chocolate fountain is 1000 flat rate and I heard they throw it in for free a lot.

New owner have taken over I think since you have been there. The food is great and you get to arrive on a yacht which is my big plus LOL.

They also give you 4 choices for dinner and guests play order seconds.

Included with that is a custom cake and a mini vienesse with a cordial bar and platters of cookies and pastries on each table. Both BM's told me the vienesse hour is nice but you really dont need it with the choc fountain, cake and pastries.

I'm a CLM Bride too. I absolutely love it there. I have some more pics too but I have to get them from my FH's camera. I'll try to post them soon. I think Jenn covered most of your questions so I won't respond to that. If you have other questsions, feel free to ask. Also, there is an official CLM thread on the 2005 Board that's worth checking out: Chateau La Mer Thread You can also do a search on the Review Board as there are 2 really exceptional and detailed reviews from 2 brides this past summer.
