Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
actually to make things a little more interesting me and my fh have a bet. if i lose 20lbs by our friends wedding in september and keep it off for our wedding i get diamond earrings i have been wanting. and if my fh loses 50lbs and then he gets the big tv he has been wanting. so we will see who wins i lost 4lbs already and of course he lost 8lbs. nice. Let the best person win. 20lbs is going to be so hard.

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I am not afraid to say it...I voted 50+I can afford to lose a significant amount of weight.
I have been excellent since the new year started...I have restricted my calorie intake and I joined curves...less than one year to go and I intend to be very self controlled.
Lets see how much of an impact I can make!
Good luck to all of you trying as well!

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I voted for 5-10 lbs but I think it is more that I need to tone rather than lose

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I voted for 5-10lbs for toning purposes...I already lost 7 of them...The thing is, I already ordered my dress which is being custom made to my figure, so I can't lose much more

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
Since we've met I've put on 60lbs.OMGI was 135 and now Im 197(2 babies and a car accident later). I've been on the treadmill everyday for a week for 35min and this week Im increasing it to 40-45min. I wont even try a dress on until I drop 30lbs.

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
Well, I actually lost some weight.....TG!So, I really could use some major toning. I plan on joining the gym soon and get some hard core cardio. I feel I met my plateau and just cant get anymore off.
That has to be the way....or else no wedding dress for me!

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I've actually been dieting since July and have lost 27 pounds so far. I have 9 more pounds to my target weight. I just need to tone up my muscles now and keep that weight for the wedding and hopefully thereafter.
(Let's see what my honeymoon does to that plan - I'm going on a cruise.)

I aggree. Most of my weight came off through dieting on Weight Watchers but no excercise. I'm finding that I'm not losing anymore. I've been at same weight for 2 months now. I think the rest is flabby skin I need to tone out with excercise. If anyone is interested, you should join the National Body Challenge hosted by the Discovery Health Channel. In addition to online access to lots of resources, you will get a free 8-week trial membership to Bally's Total Fitness.

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I need to lose at least 50 lbs! My goal is 50 lbs! I gained a lot of weight after 2 car accidents. I'm going to have to go on WW or something.. Curves is great. I LOVED it, but I had to stop b/c of my injuries. Good Luck Ladies!

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
just try to stick to it. its hard to look at such a big number like 30 or 50 lbs., its too overwhelming. set goals for yourself, like 2 or 3 lbs a week. it makes it easier to stick to a diet/weight loss plan.

I need to lose weight for my friend's wedding this JUly anyway and of course my 2006 wedding is A HUGE incentive
Hope you are all doing well with the weight loss.

Re: POLL: How much weight are you trying to lose for the wedding?
I definitely need to lose at least 10 pounds by the wedding. I just re-joined my gym and am trying to get into a routine. I am just scared of the pain I'm going to feel once I begin weight training!

me too!!! I want to lose like 5 to 10 pounds purely because I have gained some in the last couple of months and want to be a bit toned for the wedding. I also satnd in front of kids all day and right now I do not feel like myself, but I dont think anyone should lose sooooo much weight just for the wedding and then never look like that again
