Spending money for honeymoon (this is for all non-inclusive honeymoons)

I was thinking $150 per day per person. That's $300 per day time 12 days. That's $3600 of spending cash.

Hmmm, maybe we will have to keep it down to $100 per day per person. That's $200 per day time 12 days. That $2400 of spending cash. Much better.

And that doesn't include tickets to Disney and Universal. Nor does it include my swim with the Dolphins or surfing lessons in Hawaii.

How much are you all planning to take for spending money?

Re: Spending money for honeymoon (this is for all non-inclusive honeymoons)

It's usually around $150 per couple per day...unless you're having extraordinarilyl expensive meals you should be OK...to be safe, count on $1500-2000 for the 12 days for the both of you.
Unless you're going somewhere insanely expensive (Aruba, Turks & Caicos, Hawaii) you should be OK.

Have fun!

When we went to Italy some meals were provided. For those that weren't we always went very cheap. It's much cheaper to stand at a counter and eat in parts of Europe than sit at a table. Your not going to be able to eat a full course meal every night. We are going to London and are going to try to keep the meals light and cheap (especially since the exchange rate to the pound is so poor). We might splurge one night. I'd rather spend my $$$$ on museums etc. On our day trips I plan on taking sandwiches with us like most Europeans do.

I've heard Disney can be insanely expensive. Can you at least smuggle some food into the park? I've become my grandma. I smuggle bottled water into the movies
