VERY personal sex question...

I can't believe I'm going to ask this,
I'm really embarrassed, but here goes...

My DH and I have been together over 11.5 years. We have never used 'anything' except each other during sex. I've been reading a lot of the sex type posts here, and just thought that maybe it would be fun for us to get something. I mentioned to my DH and he got all excited.

I wanted to get something that I could use on/with him. Is there anything out there that men really like? Something that will pleasure him? He said that he'd buy something for me, and I buy something for him. We're both clueless, so I just thought I'd ask all the experienced women on here.

I've looked online, and all I can say is 'WOW'... so many intimidating, scary looking stuff!!!

I am really, really embarrassed now!

Melissa, you're killing me. How about starting with something simple, like watching a 'movie' together or something? Or something couples can enjoy like kinky massage oil or something. There's nothing wrong with adding a little spice/dimension to your sex life. I'm sure the fact alone that you suggested something gave him a charge. You know how bad boys can be

go to themood.com, it's the website of my fave sex store...unfortunately it' in philly, but it's sucha great shop, relaly oriented toward couples and very classy. When FH and I were in college, we'd buy all kindsof new stuff all the time to try

Some mild stuff -

emotion lotion, warm when you rub, hot when you blow and edible and condom safe

body butter - really smooth yummy lotion type stuff

taste me spray...leave the room, spray it on a part of your body, and leave it up yo your partner to find where you sprayed it!

body paint - this can be really intimate and fun, but then you need a shower. Some say they're edible, but they just aren't/

Also, I think games can be really fun. We have this card game called sextasy extasy or something (I got it for like $6 at B&N clearnace, and you pick a card forme ach of four categories with little ideas to spice things up. REALLY fun!

I think a movie is a great idea.. and great for beginners!!! Some of those toys.. let's just say you have to work up to some of those things.
