im home today updated

I tried going into work today and i was pulling out my car and it got stuck i was able to do it yesterday but i guess with the snow drifts from last night caused the snow to blow more and now like i said when i was pulling out of the parkinglot I got stuck i had to force my car to go back forward to the space again maybe tomorrow i will be able to get out. but at least i am home with you all this lovely morning.


ETA: I finally got my car out! I just came in
from shoveling more snow away from my car and i got it out so i moved my car where its cleared and i can pull it out tomorrow for work so i wont be on here in the morning with ya's.
I will miss ya but i am ready to go back to work i miss everyone thereco-workers not bosses.

Wow...good thing you were able to get back in...I am hoping that I can get out of my spot. DH did a good job digging, I just worry about the roads being slippery.

The same exact thing happened to me! I'm pissed, though. I didn't want to use a sick day today, besides, I'm already awake!

me too i been off since december 20th and i need the money but i actually am collecting unemployement this week so i am getting paid.but i would like to see everyone maybe tomorrow i will try again.

I didnt even bother getting up this morning. I leave my house at 5:30am usually and I just wasnt in the mood to have to drive in this stuff this morning...Also where I work the roads are never plowed and I didnt want to risk getting stuck

me too stonybrook college never clean the roads and its bad over there so also i did not want to risk it.i tried getting my car out and it did not work so i said forget it. its soo cold out there right now too 6 degrees forget that.

The roads at SB are actually perfect. The only ones I went on that were down to blacktop.

Hey Beth, Are the admin offices fully functioning? My class is later this afternoon, but I was headed in early to speak w/ some people in admin.... I've been trying to get them by phone, but I can't get through...

We're open and functioning as far as I can see. We are only 1/2 staffed because some women stayed home with kids home from school, so it is just crazy busy with first day of classes...Be prepared for some long lines!

normally by the sac its so bad where i park they normally dont do a good job i guess they really cleaned up this time because of the snow. its about time.

shorty how was stonybrook today? let me know if it was busy, i doubt it because of the snow but than again i can be wrong. Let me know what time you are coming up at sac tomorrow! I will be in the back making sandwiches ask someone to get me.

What time does the SAC open? I'm trying to speak with someone in the registrar's office--- I waited for an hour today, but couldn't stay longer because I had a class. I'm thinking if I get there REALLLLLY early and wait on line. I'll be able to speak with her. So that means I'll get there pretty early!

The doors open at 7:30 but they do have them open earlier some ppeople do try to come in and buy stuff at 7 but we tell them we are not open yet. I get there at 6:30am so if you get there early come by. I will be there. How was it today?was it crowded at sac?

My inlaws are stuck in Florida until tomorrow night. They land @ 6PM. DH will pick them up after work. I am going w/my brother and FSIL to the watermill for a showcase .
I feel bad I wont see my inlaws, but I want to go home and get stuff done there too.
