i changed my BM dress color - what do you think? added new pic (with poll)

i changed my BM dress color - what do you think? added new pic (with poll)

so i (finally) went with 2 of my BMs to pick out dresses, and when we got there and they started trying on dresses, i fell in love with another color entirely! they liked the new color much more than the old color (funny how the truth comes out!), so i think i will go with it, but i'm not 100% positive.

the dresses will be in chiffon, and each BM will pick her own. my flowers will be pink either way.

what do you all think?


#1 is 2 pics of the new color. just added a second pic so maybe against the pink you could get a clearer idea of the color.

#2 is old color...

Personally- I like the old color BUT you obviously changed your mind after seeing it in person- and you need to go with that. You also want to make your BMs happy. I mean- it's really hard to get a sense of what a dress looks like from these pics.

I personally like the old color better.

But everyone has different tastes, and you all seemed to like the new color better, so I say go for it.

it's called 'apple', and in person it's a beautiful greenish-yellow color. almost a lime, but more muted, not as shocking. not sure if i'm making sense

in the pics i like the old color a little better, but in person the old color just wasn't quite... it. also, the new color looked so much better on the BMs that it would be hard not to go with it.

but i couldn't make the switch without consulting my fellow '05ers!!!

I like the new color much better. It's SO elegant and beautiful. What is the design of the dress though? First or second dress?

i'm letting each BM pick her own dress, in either chiffon or a chiffon/taffeta combo as seen in the pics of the new color. the dress in the pic of the old color is satin, which i decided not to use...

I think if you and your bm like the color, you know their coloring and the look that you are going for. Very original and beautiful!

which one is the actual dress?

My BM's dresses are the middle one with the halter ties in your color - the apple. I have seen it in person and think it is stunning, so I don't blame you if the apple chiffon is the one you are going for!
