What are pet peeves that you have that you KNOW are weird??

I cannot get take a shower if someone has used it right before me and the shower floor is wet and the bathroom is all humid. It doesn't matter that in two seconds it's going to be like that anyway! I have to take the first shower!

I can't go out in public without a shower.....DH friends make fun of me when we visit them and I insist on a shower first before going anywhere

I have this incessant NEED to fight/argue...I blame it on my PMS, but it's not fair to DH

I hate it when I am sitting at a table to eat and there is silverware pointed at me.

I don't know why, my family thinks I am nuts.

I need to have my own peanut butter jar..I hate sharing...even with my DH, i still need my own...I don't know why really

I can't eat with a plastic fork or spoon...the plastic edges skeeve me out! I get the chills just thinking about it!

I just think it's so interesting to see what bothers all of us and how how in reading all of these - other people's pet peeves wouldn't bother me at all! THat's what makes us all so different and wonderful!

OMG i am the opposite...

I HATE when people put their teeth on a metal fork when eating food...It makes this horrible sound that ddrives me CRAZY

I have to sit in the same seat at the dinner table (I still live at home) even though my Mom just got a new dining room set ...I still insist on sitting in the same spot!

i have alot of them lol. i think the best one is people touching food without using gloves or least washing there hands. i think its all the years of catering lol

i have to shower, too; no-one can see me before i have done that in the morning and put on make-up....weird, i know (just ask my dh b/c for the 1st few YEARS of dating I always had makeup on!)

i also cannot sleep if the sheet is not tucked in perfect, i lay there obsessing over the part sticking out (luckily my dh is always ready to jump up and fix it before i can even move - what a guy! )

i can't take it when the towels are crooked in the bathroom.....drives me bonkers!

and at school - my stapler, tape dispenser and hole puncher need to all be facing me in their proper locations or i freak out....
and i don't let my students staple their own papers usually....because the pages arent' always neat

I cant sleep at night if the bedroom closet doors are open, even in the slightest. I also hate it if DH doesnt close cabinets all the way. I know I have lots of other weird things, I need to think about this...

I hate when teachers park in MY spot at school in the parking lot even though we don't have assigned spots.

Oh my god, I'm with you on this one. I learned a lot of nasty things in culinary school and whenever I see somebody handling food without gloves it grosses me out. DH loves this deli and I refuse to eat there, because the employees don't always use gloves and he thinks I'm crazy for making such a big deal about it.

Well, there are those who will probably blast me on this, but I HATE POOR SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did our educational system fail us somehow??? My cousins are in elementary school and they don't have spelling lessons the way we did. The school board says 'We're teaching creativity through spelling!' My aunt's response to that is 'I'll pay for therapy later, right now I want them to learn how to spell 'cat.''

Call me a snob, but it just drives me nuts.

I cant sleep if the bedroom door is all the way open, not at all..It has to be at least halfway closed. FH thinks Im nuts cause I will say as he is getting into bed ' the door, the dorr' and then he wont close it 'ENOUGH', so I have to be like a little bit more, A little more..till its perfect.
I wish we could close it all together but we have 3 cats that would scrtach their way through the door if I tried it.

I cant sleep if the door from the bedroom into the hallway is open. I have gotten used to leaving the door from the bedroom into the bathroom open, the bathroom opens to the hallway. Coz I listen for Sandy (my dog) incase she cries at night.

I hate MOTHS. I cant have then fluttering around me. I will run miles from them. My family and friends think I am crazy.

I have a lot more. How sad.

This may sound so vain, but I can't go out in public without make-up on.

I also have to turn the radio off in the car before I turn my car off. That one is REALLY stupid I know!
