What's the average price for a photographer?

I think it depends on what you're looking for and what you want included - albums, parent albums, etc. We are paying around $5500 including tax. I can't remember exactly what we're getting for that price but from what I remember we're getting an album for us that holds 75 images, two parent albums that hold 20 images, an engagement shoot, high res dvd, proofs, and an assortment of 11x 13, 8x10s, 5x7s ( can't remember how many of each).

I don't think there is no average price for a photographer. It really depends on what you are looking.

I've been to 4 so far and the average price seems to be about 4,000 but that is for a pretty good package. All 4 that I have seen had packages for less than that.

I agree that it depends on what you are looking for. I went to see one photographer and the package I liked was $6500! We got something very comparable for much less. Most of the photographers we looked charged about $6000 for the package we ultimately booked. I am happy to say that I am paying much less than that!

It really depends on what you are looking for & if you are going to do a package deal...I am paying approximately $4800K for both photo & video...That includes

1 Deluxe library Bride & Groom book (60 pictures 12x12)

2 Parent albums (24 pictures 8x8)
5x7 bridal photos
4 8x10
2 11x14
1 16x20
Black & whites, sepia pictures & engagement photo ( i know I am forgetting things too!)

all proofs!!

I'm paying $5000 at Patken, and here is whats included

1 bride/groom albums with 40 pics any style

2 20 pic parents albums

16 5x7 bridal party pics, a gift for each of them

1 16x20

2 8x8 for parents

1 8x10

1 11x14

150 Thank yous

$150 worth of extra pics of our choice

3 DVD with all the special effects

1 VHS unedited
