Lemon Tree or other inexpensive place for a do
Has anyone used Lemon tree for their hair? I am in a wedding on the 19th and want to get my hair blown straight but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it but also want quality service.Any other recommendations?

Where do you live? I don't think that a blow out unless you have a lot of hair would be more than 35 anywhere you go. The place I go to is about 30-35

If you are just getting a blow out how bad can it be? You could always go for a trial run before the day of the wedding.

I have a great place for you to go. It's along the lines of a Lemon Tree...it's called Hair 2000 and it's in Plainview off of Manetto Hill Road. I went there twice to have an up-do for 2 weddings I was in, and they only charge about 30 bucks. Ask for Lenora, she did such an amazing job with my hair (and I have a lot of it!!!). The only thing is that you can't make an appointment, but they don't make you wait longer than half an hour. Good luck!ETA - oops I thought you wanted an up-do. Hair 2000 is still great though, and still ask for Lenora. Their prices are REALLY cheap and they do a nice job.

I'm interested in your hairstylist. I will be part of a wedding this May and wouldn't want to pay that much. Would you mind giving me the address so I could mapquest it. Thanks.

I used Harvey's Salon in Cedarhurst for my wedding day and my hari was $65. They charge $35 to have it blown out straight and they do a really great job.

Yes, Lenora cuts my hair too. I am going every 6 weeks or so for a trim because I am growing my hair out for my wedding (8 months to go!). The best part is, the hair cut is 10 bucks! If it's blow dryed, I think it was 22 or something close to it.
