Did anyone watch the food networks wedding weekend?
On one of the shows Mark Summers (yeah Double Dare!) said, with a shocked tone, that the average wedding costs $18,000...I wish my wedding was only costing me $18,000

I saw a few minutes of the wedding cake contest and about 45 minutes of Paula Dean's wedding (including her sons in drag for her shower).

I saw the one with the Disney weddings....one of the brides had the bakers make individual wedding cakes for each guest with cinderella's castle on top of each one.

I have seen the Disney weddings before... I TiVo'ed Unwrapped (FH and I are obsessed with that show!) and we watched 'Here Comes the Cake' earlier today.... we love the food network!

I thought the segment on Paula Dean's wedding was great - she looked so happy and beautiful. . . and that groom's cake looked delicious.I saw the last half hour of the 'Food network caters your wedding.' I thought the wedding cake they got looked kinda weird. I guess the figurines of the bride and groom were edible? I thought they looked kinda scary.

I watched the wedding cake competition. amazing how talented these people r to create such a work of art that I for sure wouldn't want to cut into. Then I watched the wedding that the foodnetwork was giving away. I forget the brides name but her gown was beautiful.
