Progesterone level at a 6

I had my progesterone tested today...it came back at level 6. Doctor said 10 is ideal. They had progesterone supplements delivered to my home. They are vaginal suppositories. Anyone have a similiar experience ? The thing is my temperatures are pretty high above the coverline...so I was disappointed when I found out my progesterone was low. I am at 9DPO

Re: Progesterone level at a 6

I had the same experience. I also had mine delivered. I dont know the exact #, but they said it was low and not where they wanted it to be. I only took them until I had my pregnancy test done, then I didnt have to take them anymore. Are you in the 2ww?? They want your levels to go up in case you are pregnant. Progesterone is important for your uterus in order to maintain a baby.

Re: Progesterone level at a 6

Yes I am in the wonderful two week wait...YUCK !!! I am driving my Dh insane. Looking at everything for a sign.... I am at 9dpo....so I guess, I have one more week of this 'wait' to find out. Do you take the supplements every month? or was that just one month where your levels were low? I am wondering if this has been a problem all year for me.

Re: Progesterone level at a 6

This was my first month taking it. But I was tested before and they were low. I asked if this could be a reason why I wasnt getting pregnant, but he said no. It is important in maintaing a healthy baby.
Good Luck!!!!
