Fabric store on LI or in the City

Im looking to replace the satin bow and buttons on my gown to a brown (right now they are a champagne color). I am having the hardest time finding a fabric store that has the color I'm looking for (its like a mocha)....anyone know of a fabric store either on LI or in the city that might have a decent selection. I went to fabric bonanza in commack and the fabric store off the LIE in the plainview area - no luck!

There's this fabric store in a really tiny strip off of Glen Cove Road in Carle Place. It's across from Staples. They had a pretty good selection and some nice fabric if you looked around. It's where I found the fabric for my table runners.

ETA: If you want to look in Manhattan there are TONS of fabric stores in the 30s around 7th and 8th Avenue -- sort of on the way to RK Bridal.

Maybe Joanne's on Old Country Rd or even AC Moores, Michaels might have fabric you need?

If you live in Suffolk there is Joann's on Sunrise Hwy in Sayville.

39th and 7th (on 39th) in the city - a bunch of fabric stores around there - I just got material for my bridesmaids shawls

there is a small machine that you can buy to recover any button w/ fabric of your choice but i don't know where to get it other than in the city in the garment

We went to the Fabric Mill...its def huge but I didnt think much of there selection!
