My big scare this AM- I forgot to share!

My big scare this AM- I forgot to share!

Of course I have a usual routine on getting ready.
I dont sleep with my ring on and i take it up to the bathroom with me and leave it on the counter, far away on the corner.
I went to place it on this morning and the ring bounced, & bounced all the way to the sink...fell in, circled the sink.... AND.........
At this point I jumped in the sink, threw my arms in and SAVED my ring from going down the drain.
The sink also happens to not have a cover on drain so just has a hole. (not my house, I dont ask) so it would of went all the way down.

I grabbed it,placed it on my finger and my heart was racing like crazy and had toothpaste all over my arms (just finished brushing my teeth).

I would of BUGGED!!!!

My ring is safe on my finger! Phew!

I would have been freaking out!!! I've done that a few times which led to my decision of wearing my ring and never taking it off!!

Glad your ring is okay! Next time, bring an extra ring box so you can keep it by your bedside, nice and safe!!

that is one of my biggest fears that's why I got the waterford crystal ring holder...i have it in my kitchen so when I cook, I can just take it off and leave it in the dish...I love it.

OH MY GOD! honey get a ring holder .... and put a towel in the sink from now on...

What a way to start your day!

I know the feeling because I was in Macys over X-mass time and I was trying on a pair of leather gloves pull them off ALONG with my ring ....its fell on the floor but since there is carpet I didnt hear it I was looking every where trying to find it before my FI figured out what I did thank god I saw it ....

I had a similar scare. I forgot I left my ring soaking in the cleaning solution all night. Needless to say, the next morning i woke up.. was running late for work and almost destroyed my whole room looking for my ring. Thank god I remembered. I almost passed out.

I do stuff like that a lot. I put it in my pocket when I am getting my hands dirty then forget where I put it and end up with a mini-stroke before I realize what I did.
