my sister needs some prayers

my sister needs some prayers

My sister is a single mother by choice and due to severe endometriosis and cancerous cells in her uterus, she chose to do invetro and in February, She found out she was pregnant.

she is about 5 months along now and the Dr's think the baby has down syndrome and the vitals aren't what they should be.

She is going for an amni test tomorrow or if there are no signs of fetal activity, they are going to make her give birth or abort the baby.

We really just need some prayers right now.

this is so tough to deal with

She went for testing on Friday and to a Genetic couselor to discuss our family history and down syndrome.

The babies vitals were better Friday then they were in the beginning of the week, so an amnio was performed and she is waiting 7-10 days for the results. It will tell her 99% if the baby has down syndrome or not. the ecco cardiogram showed no heart defects so that is 1 thing on the positive side-she is going for testing pretty much everyday this week also.,

I hope everything is ok with your sister I know how tough this can be I have one friend who is in the same boat but her FH isn't ready to have children and her dr. told her that after 35 she will not be able to have kids. she is 31 now so she is hoping to change his mind.

I will keep your sister in my prayers and pleas keep us posted

Scott's cousin has a baby with Downs and he is a joy. They did not know he was down so there was a lot medical issues but now, 3 years later he lights up a room when he enters it.

I pray your sister and her baby are healthy!!
